RMS Recruitment Management System
The Recruitment Management System (RMS) is a day-to-day working tool for recruitment consultants.
It is a record-keeping application for managing the recruitment process from initial client proposal
to final offer and acceptance.
RMS manages a database of candidates, vacancies, and companies, and the lifecycle of the
process of recruitment of candidates to those vacancies.
It enables the consultant and other consultants and management within the company to quickly locate and survey
information about vacancies or candidates or clients.
In addition, it provides a contact management system for liaison with clients, prospects, and suppliers.
The latest version of RMS is written using Microsoft's "Windows Presentation Manager" (WPF),
the technology of choice for Windows desktop client applications.
WPF gives a better user experience and responsiveness than an internet browser-based recruitment system.
It has been designed with two hosting options for the database:
- On a server in your office (or on a single computer for a one-user system).
This solution is suitable where most users are in the same office.
Remote users can gain access by using remote access software such as Terminal Server.
- Hosted via a web server host (either a 3rd party hosting company, or your own web server) -
so that you can access the system from any branch office, or at a client site or from home.
You get the benefit of an internet application, with the user-friendliness
of a Windows desktop application, and with your server and backups managed by the 3rd party.
This solution allows integration of your website with the database, so that active vacancies display on your website,
and candidate applications then get automatically added to the database.

with automatic duplicate checking.

- SMS texting facility. Replies will be sent to a specified mobile phone.
If you use the web hosting option, candidate replies can be forwarded as emails.
- All documents (CVs, scanned images, generated letters, emails) are managed by RMS
and stored in the database.
- Comprehensive search facility when searching the database for candidates. A mixture of free-text search and database searching options available.
All CVs are automatically converted to text and indexed using the Microsoft "Full-text search" facility of MS Sql Server.
- Central database of all the companies and contacts that the company
deals with, including clients, prospects, and suppliers.
- Provides a shared diary facility - to view all consultants diaries.
- Integration with candidate portal available.
Vacancies added to the database are displayed on the web site.
Candidate's details and CVs are stored directly into the database.
