The IBS system is intended to integrate the separate business processes
carried out by a business, into one integrated business system with a single database.
The currently available modules are the sales order processing system, sales ledger system,
nominal ledger system, stock control system, purchase order processing system, purchase ledger system,
contact management system, and the call tracking system.
The modules provide basic functionality which will be suitable for many
businesses as is, and at a low cost.
Module Descriptions:
- Contact management. Recording of contacts with customers and prospects.
Supports letter generation, mailings, email.
This module is always included in the base IBS system.
- Call tracking. Allows a call centre to record and monitor incidents
such as problem reporting and customer care incidents.
Calls are assigned to a queue,
and the ownership of a call is often passed between the different queues.
The call is closed when the incident is resolved.
- Nominal ledger/General ledger.
Provides financial reporting from the above activities.
This module is required if any of the other financial subsystems are used.
- Sales order system. Can operate either as a simple invoicing system
for non-stock orders, or can interface with the stock control system to allow for
picking of orders.
- Sales ledger system. Processes customer statements and invoice payments.
- Stock control system. Allows a business to monitor every aspect of stock
movement. Designed to interface with the purchase order and sales order systems
to monitor stock movements.
- Purchase order system. Designed to meet the day to day requirements of
a purchase order department.
- Purchase ledger system. Processes suppliers and their payments.
Key Benefits:
