RMS Candidate Status

 

As a candidate progresses through a vacancy, towards eventual offer and acceptance, the consultant moves the candidate to the new status:

Each status change is logged in the database to provide an audit trail of actions taken on the candidate. This is displayed in the "logged events" box for the vacancy, in the candidate screen. If defined for that substatus, an email (or letter) may be produced, or an automatic request for a diary appointment, such as a consultant interview.

The possible statuses that might be required for a candidate, are defined by the RMS administrator at system installation time. Future additions would require programming support, so care should be taken to define any possible additions. If in doubt, the supplied values should be suitable for most recruitment companies.
